Cost Guide · 2026

What countertops cost, installed, in the Lehigh Valley.

Real installed pricing per square foot — quartz, granite, quartzite and more — plus what a project costs by kitchen size, the edges that add up, and what drives the number.

By material.

Quartz

$50–$155 / sq ft

Engineered, non-porous, never sealed — the most-requested surface. Installed, per sq ft.

Granite

$70–$140 / sq ft

Natural, heat-tolerant, one-of-a-kind; sealed periodically. Installed, per sq ft.

Quartzite

$60–$150 / sq ft

Marble's look with granite's durability. Installed, per sq ft.

Marble

$75–$250 / sq ft

Soft, luminous, classic — a statement surface. Installed, per sq ft.

Butcher block

$40–$100 / sq ft

Warm, workable wood for islands and prep zones.

Laminate

$8–$50 / sq ft

Budget-friendly, modern patterns.

By kitchen size.

What a finished, installed countertop project actually costs across the three common Lehigh Valley jobs.

Vanity / small kitchen (≈25 sq ft)

$1,250–$3,900

A bath vanity or compact galley in quartz or granite.

Typical kitchen (30–50 sq ft)

$2,000–$7,500+

The standard Lehigh Valley kitchen, perimeter plus a small island.

Large kitchen + island (60–80 sq ft)

$4,000–$12,000+

Big perimeter runs and a full island, often with premium edges.

What drives the price.

Two kitchens of the same size can quote very differently. Here's what moves the number beyond the material itself.

Square footage
biggest single factor
Material & slab grade
$50–$250 / sq ft
Edge profile
eased/pencil included; premium adds
Number of seams
more length = more seams
Cutouts (sink, cooktop)
$100–$300 each
Old-top removal & disposal
$100–$400

Edges & the install.

Edge profiles

An eased or pencil edge is typically included. Premium profiles — ogee, a mitered “thick” edge, or a waterfall island side — add cost because they take more stone and more fabrication time. They're where a counter starts to feel custom.

Templating & lead time

We digitally template once the cabinets are set, fabricate over about 1–2 weeks, and install in a single day — seam-perfect, with sink and cooktop cutouts. Plan for roughly two to three weeks from template to finished counters.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How much do countertops cost installed in the Lehigh Valley?
Installed, quartz runs about $50–$155 per square foot, granite $70–$140, and quartzite $60–$150. A typical Lehigh Valley kitchen of 30–50 square feet lands around $2,000–$7,500+ depending on material, edge profile and cutouts.
Quartz, granite or quartzite — which should I choose?
Quartz is engineered, non-porous and never needs sealing, with consistent color — ideal for busy kitchens. Granite is natural, heat-tolerant and one-of-a-kind, sealed periodically. Quartzite gives a marble look with near-granite durability. We compare all three in our quartz vs. granite vs. quartzite guide.
What drives countertop price besides the material?
Square footage, edge profile, the number of seams and cutouts (sink, cooktop), and whether the old tops need removal. A waterfall or mitered edge and an extra-thick look both add cost. We template digitally so the quote reflects your actual kitchen.
How long does a countertop install take?
After your cabinets are set, we template, then fabrication typically runs about 1–2 weeks, with install in a single day. Plan for roughly two to three weeks from template to finished counters.
Do you template and install, or just supply?
We handle it end to end — digital templating, fabrication and seam-perfect installation, including sink cutouts and the edge profile you choose.
